How it works

  1. Step 1

    Add the audio

MP3, WAV or M4A, up to 250 MB and 10 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Add the picture that stays on screen

Album art, a title card or a photo. It is held for the whole length of the audio.

  3. Step 3

    Download the MP4

The video comes out 1280 by 720 in 16:9, made on your device, and ends exactly when the audio does.

Why YouTube needs a picture at all

YouTube takes video files, not audio files, so an MP3 cannot be uploaded on its own. The smallest valid video is one picture held for the length of the audio, which is what this page makes.

The picture is not only a formality. It is the frame people see while they listen, and it is what the player shows when the video is paused.

Still image or moving waveform

ChoiceWhat the viewer seesBest for
Image onlyOne picture for the whole uploadFull episodes, albums and mixes, where nothing needs to move
Image and waveformYour picture with the waveform moving over itShorter uploads where a still frame looks like a stalled video
Waveform onlyA white waveform on blackAn upload with no artwork ready

Want a presenter on the video instead of a still?

A still image works for a full upload. For anything you want watched, a photo of the presenter can be animated to the same audio, so the video shows someone saying it rather than a frozen frame.

Checked on 15 October 2026 against Percify's own tool behaviour and credit costs; the only platform fact asserted is that YouTube accepts video files and not audio files..

Use it from an AI assistant or a script

Every setting is a URL parameter, so an assistant can send a link with the options already chosen. The tool still runs on the person's own device.
