What an AI avatar video really costs
On Percify everything runs on one credit meter, priced per second of video: a talking avatar clip is 2 credits a second on the fast model at 480p, so 20 seconds is 40 credits and a minute is 120; at 720p it is 6 credits a second, 120 for 20 seconds. Your own photo as the face and a saved voice clone cost nothing, a two person podcast is 150 credits a minute, and a 15 second realtime clip about 60. Credits cost about 2 cents each depending on the plan, so a minute of fast talking video lands around $2 to $3. Resolution moves the bill more than anything else. There are no quality, speed or watermark tiers: paid plans add credits.

Resolution is the whole bill
A 720p talking clip is 6 credits a second, three times the fast 480p rate of 2, so the same 20 second script goes from 40 credits to 120. It also takes noticeably longer to render.
What 720p buys is more pixels on the mouth, not better sync. It is worth paying for when the face is small in frame or the clip will be watched full screen; for a face that fills a phone screen, it is money spent on the background.

What a finished video usually costs
A short social clip of about 20 seconds is one render: 40 credits on the fast model at 480p. Using your own face and voice adds nothing. A two minute case study at 720p is a very different bill: 720 credits.
A podcast is priced by the minute instead: 150 credits for one minute, 450 at the three minute cap.
Time is a cost too
A short clip on the fast 480p path is usually ready in a few minutes; 720p takes several times longer. When you are still changing the script, that is the difference between iterating and waiting.
How to spend less
Most of the savings are decisions made before you press generate:
- Render at 480p for social, on the fast model: 2 credits a second.
- Write for twenty seconds, and split longer scripts into two clips.
- Crop close before generating: a face that is too small is the most common reason a clip has to be run twice. See fix AI lip sync.
- Draft with a preset voice, switch to your clone for the final.
- Clone once. Your photo and a saved voice cost nothing, and every later video is yours.
What paid plans change
Only credits. API and MCP access come with every plan, and there is no watermark on any plan (Remake replicas carry a small AI-disclosure mark on every plan), no priority queue and no resolution locked behind a tier. Current plans and their monthly credits are on the pricing page.
