Free AI lip sync comes in three forms. Free plans on hosted tools run in your browser, but they are small and most put a watermark on the video. Trials give you more for a few days. Open models are free with no limit and no watermark, but you run them on your own graphics card.
Two different jobs also hide under "lip sync". One makes a photo talk: you give it a face and an audio file, and it renders the video. The other syncs an existing video to new audio, which is what dubbing needs. The tables say which tool does which. What each free plan gives you
Percify runs InfiniteTalk Fast ↗ at 2 credits a second of audio, with a 4 credit minimum, so the 10 free credits make a clip of about 5 seconds. InfiniteTalk ↗ costs 4 credits a second at 480p and 6 at 720p. On Creator ($26 for 1,233 credits) Fast works out at about $2.53 a minute. No plan adds a watermark, and every plan, the free one included, carries commercial rights. You give it a face photo and the audio; InfiniteTalk's authors say it moves the head, posture and expression with the audio, not only the lips.
HeyGen ↗'s free plan makes 3 videos a month, each up to a minute, with 500+ stock avatars and 1 custom avatar. Its pricing page lists watermark removal from Creator, at $29 a month.
Vidnoz ↗'s lip sync tool takes a video and a new audio track, and its page lists over 100 languages. The free plan ↗ gives 30 credits a day, which its pricing page equates to 60 seconds, at 720p and up to 3 minutes a video, with the Vidnoz watermark. Paid plans, from $26.99 a month or $19.99 billed yearly, export 1080p without it.
Vozo ↗ is built for translating video, with optional lip sync. The free plan's 20 points cover about 2 minutes of lip sync. Pro, shown to us at €25 a month, covers about 15 minutes and removes the watermark.
D-ID ↗ offers a 14 day trial with 3 minutes of video, a full screen watermark and a personal use licence. Lite ($4.70 a month billed yearly) still carries a D-ID watermark; Pro ($16 a month billed yearly) lists an AI watermark and a commercial licence.
Sync.so ↗ is where the Wav2Lip repository points for a commercial model. Hobbyist is $5 a month plus $0.05 a second, for videos up to a minute; Creator, $19 a month plus $0.05 a second, removes the watermark and allows videos up to 5 minutes.

No GPU? A community LatentSync demo ↗ on Hugging Face was running on 15 September 2026, on shared hardware; the SadTalker and MuseTalk demos linked from their repositories were not. InfiniteTalk is also the model Percify runs, so you can use it by the second instead of setting it up.
Free with no watermark
Most free plans stamp the video. The exceptions are Percify, on every plan including the free one, though 10 free credits make only about 5 seconds, and every open model above, since they run on your own machine. HeyGen, Vidnoz, Vozo and Sync.so list watermark removal on a paid plan, and D-ID's trial and Lite plan carry its watermark.
How to choose
- You have a photo and want it to talk: Percify, HeyGen or D-ID in the browser; SadTalker or InfiniteTalk on your own GPU.
- You have a video and new audio, for dubbing: Vidnoz, Sync.so or Vozo in the browser; LatentSync or MuseTalk on your own GPU.
- You need it free and long: an open model. Hosted free plans stop at seconds or a few minutes.
- You will publish it commercially: read the licence. The open version of Wav2Lip is non commercial, and D-ID's trial is for personal use.
Test with a hard clip first
Free credits go further if you test on the clip most likely to fail:
- A face turned to the camera, mouth unobstructed. Profiles and hands near the mouth break most models.
- Words with P, B and M. The lips must close on them; if they stay open, viewers notice.
- The last seconds. Timing errors build up over a long take, so check the end, not the start.
- Clean speech. Music and room echo blur the mouth shapes; add the music after the sync.
