Voice Studio · ad localization
Dub your ads into another language
To dub an ad creative with AI, translate the script, speak it in the same voice, then regenerate the mouth from the translated track so the lips match the new language. Recut for length, because translated lines rarely run as long as the original, and localise the proof as well as the words. On Percify the voice can be your own clone, 5 credits once, or one of 52 presets.

Why dubbed ads look dubbed
The usual shortcut lays translated audio over the original video. The timing survives and the mouth shapes do not, because every language shapes the mouth differently. Viewers rarely name it, but they feel it, and in an ad that feeling reads as "this was not made for me".
The fix is the order of operations: translate, voice it, then generate the mouth from the new track. Every other diagnosis is in fix AI dubbing.
Length is the second trap
A line that runs four seconds in English can run five and a half in German. If your cuts are timed to the original, a dub drifts against them. Either keep the edit loose or treat each language as a recut rather than a revoice.
Write the source script for translation: short lines, one idea each, and no jokes that depend on word play.
Localise the proof, not only the words
A translated claim still reads as foreign. A local number reads as relevant. Swap in prices in the local currency, the units that audience uses and a result from a customer in that market. Keep the hook structure, because that is the format, and change what fills it.
One brand voice in every language
If the ad is fronted by a person, a founder or a creator, clone their voice once and use it in every market; Voice Studio speaks a dub in your own voice. If it is a product ad, a preset per market works as well. Clone only voices you have the right to use. Setup is in clone yourself.
A workable sequence
Each step uses one studio that does one thing well:
| Step | What to use |
|---|---|
| Find a format that works | Content Replication: paste a short that already performed |
| Write twenty seconds | One line of hook, two or three of substance, one of exit |
| Render the source ad | Avatar Studio, 4:5, 480p |
| Dub each market | Voice Studio, with the mouth regenerated from the translated track |
| Recut per language | Leave the edit loose around the new length |

Frequently asked questions
How do you dub a video ad with AI?
Translate the script, speak it in the same voice, regenerate the mouth from the translated track, then recut for the new length. Skipping the mouth step is what makes dubbed ads look dubbed.
Why does my dubbed ad look out of sync?
Usually because the mouth was generated from the original language while the dub plays. The timing matches and the shapes do not. Generate the mouth from the translated track.
Can the dub use my own voice?
Yes. Clone your voice once for 5 credits from a sample of at least 5.6 seconds, and Voice Studio speaks the dub in it.
Do I need to recut the ad for each language?
Often. Languages run different lengths, and a four second English line can take five and a half seconds in German, so edits timed to the original will drift.
What does it cost to dub an ad?
Cloning the voice is 5 credits once. Each language version needs its own lip sync render; for reference, a 20 second talking clip at 480p averages 69 credits on Percify.
