Competitor video analysis, counted, not estimated

Competitor video analysis on Percify counts real posts from the accounts you actually compete with: what they publish, how it performs, and how a single video is built, broken down into hook, shots, camera moves and on screen text. Nothing is modelled, estimated or smoothed; where there are three posts, it says three. Refreshing a whole competitor set costs 5 credits, one account 1, a market scan 8 and a single video breakdown 5.

Generating from your own brief is a closed loop

Every generator has the same structural flaw. You describe your brand, the tool generates from that description, and what comes back is plausible by construction: consistent with what you said about yourself. Plausible is not validated. A closed loop cannot tell you that your category has moved, that a format stopped working in March, or that what your audience actually watches looks nothing like your brief. Competitor signals are the outside evidence.

Every number is counted, not estimated

The rule the surface is built on is that nothing is modelled or smoothed. Where there are three posts, it says three. A confident trend line drawn through four data points is worse than an empty state: the empty state tells you to go and get more data, while the curve tells you a story. This surface will sometimes show a sparse, unimpressive wall, and that wall is honest.

Organic signals rank. Ad signals do not.

Organic posts carry real view counts, so they can be ranked: this is what worked. Creative pulled from the Meta Ad Library has no view counts, so it shows what rivals pay to run, not what works. Use organic signals to decide what to make and ad signals to see which claims and creative your category is buying. Mixing them produces a leaderboard where half the rows have no score.

From a signal to a video

A breakdown turns a winning video into its parts: the hook, the shots, the camera moves and the text on screen. From there, perform the structure with your own face and words in remake a viral video, or write an ad to its shape in AI UGC ads.

Study your category in four steps

  1. 1

Add the accounts you compete with

The real ones, not the ones you wish you competed with.

  2. 2

    Refresh the set

Five credits pulls fresh posts for every account at once.

  3. 3

    Break down the winners

Hook, shots, camera moves and on screen text, 5 credits a video.

  4. 4

    Perform what you found

Remake the structure with your own face, voice and words.

Frequently asked questions

How do I analyse competitor videos?

Add the accounts you compete with, refresh them to pull their real posts and view counts, then break the best performing videos down into hook, shots, camera moves and on screen text.

Does Percify estimate competitor views?

No. It counts real posts and real numbers. Nothing is modelled or smoothed, and where it only has three posts it says three.

Can I see the ads my competitors run?

Yes, through the ad library leg of a market scan, for 12 credits. Ad creative has no view counts, so it shows what they pay to run rather than what works.

What does competitor analysis cost?

Refreshing a whole competitor set is 5 credits, one account 1, a market scan 8, and breaking one video down 5. The first brand analysis on an account is free.

What do I do with a video breakdown?

Perform the structure yourself: remake it with your avatar and your words, or write an ad to the same shape.
